As a daily “DMZ” between the chaos and our wood floors, it’s doing solid work: the 100% polypropylene pile is soft under bare feet, drinks up drips, and vacuums clean without snagging. The rubberized backing keeps it planted during normal traffic, and after a quick wash cycle it came out looking tidy with no curling or weird shrink there. Yah.Two watch-outs from our first two weeks: because it ships folded, we saw some crease memory for a day or two (it relaxed on its own). And while grip is strong across the middle, we’ve had a corner pop up if you catch the edge just right — something to note if anyone at home is less steady on their feet. Bought beige 2 x 4. I'm very pleased with the color and design. The fibers seem sturdy and dont show dirt! And it stays in place with super grip bottom.
