Geometric & Floral Durable Stair Treads

We recently moved into a multi-level house, and it's taking some adjustment to get used to stairs. I wanted something to help me distinguish between steps - poor depth perception. These are the answers! 30-inches wide, easy to apply, and they don't slip. The pattern choices are so pretty! Our pick looks great with the lighter wood! They're soft on bare fit, too! An added surprise is that they dull the chomping of my husband's heavy steps up and down the stairs! The only drawback - the dogs can silently creep down the stairs now!

We found these truly enhanced our 100 year old farm home and the steps leading upstairs. The colors matched our wood decor in a enhanced but natural manner. They are easy to install - simply peel off the backing and put them on the stairs. For most people these will do an important job of eliminating slippage on stairs.What did seem odd is that during the pre-ordering process I could not find a size located anywhere. For those in a similar situation they measure 8 x 30 inches.Please note: In the pictures the Cosy Homeer treads are on the step portion and not the backing portion.

These carpet treads for wood stairs are very handy but a bit of a pain to work with. It's not as bad as all that but it isn't a seamless process either. The backing of the carpet has two pieces of plastic you have to peel off and I was expecting the rug to be sticky underneath but it isn't. It just feels like more plastic and for a few minutes I thought I was supposed to take that part off too but then realized it's sewn in. With that said I think that on a staircase like mine I do not trust the carpet alone so I put down a heavy duty double-sided tape. If you look at the pictures of my staircase to the basement that's the kind of staircase you don't want to take any chances on or else you wind up in a heap against the concrete floor and wall. If your stairs are not as trepidus as mine you may not need the tape but I still feel if there's going to be any type of movement you may want to go ahead and secure that a little better. The colors look pretty and make a dreary staircase a little bit more pleasant. They do seem to be durable and I appreciate that the carpet side is a little more rough and not that slick polyester. The size of them are perfect for my needs and fit the steps almost end to end. Totally worth the effort!

I got this pack of carpet stair treads to use on my attic stairs. First of all, I LOVE this design. I got the Cookie Gray color and love it. It comes in a pack of 15 but I only needed 13 so I have a couple extras for spares. They came folded in half and I would have preferred to have them packaged flat instead. They did flatten out pretty well but not quite perfectly flat so I hope that will improve over time. Overall, these are a fun addition to an otherwise boring set of stairs.

I like to keep treads on my stairs to both protect the floors, as well as help prevent slips by kids and dogs. I got these treads to replace some that had seen better days and they're a great product. At 30" wide they have enough coverage to leave only a 1" gap on either side. The color and pattern is a nice contrast to the solid brown of my basement stairs, and brightens up the stairwell nicely. And unlike the treads that I replaced, these have a carpet-like texture that is soft under foot (many of the others I've purchased feel hard and scratchy).The carpet treads hold down with a series of rubber strips underneath, so they don't fully stick to the floor, but they're definitely not moving. I generally try to avoid washing stair treads so that they don't lose their shape, but it's nice to know that these are washable incase of a spill. Overall they're a great purchase and I look forward to using them for several years.

I renovate and Stage houses for sale and the last few houses I've done have had wooden stair treads. The Treads were made of pine so they weren't really appropriate for staining or leaving natural but I didn't want to put actual carpet in the houses because I usually avoid wall to wall carpet. But it can be a bit dangerous to walk down bare stairs with no carpet and these are a great solution. They stick on easily and provide the traction you need to make going up and down the stairs safer. I also make the stairwell look much more polished.

We got these stair treads for my elderly parents to place on their stairs; hopefully preventing them from slipping and or falling. The treads are well made and very easy to install. They look very nice and are comfortable to walk on. Overall, great find!

I was looking for something to try and make my really bad basement stairs a bit less bad, this is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the 15 pack and they came well packed, at first I was a little worried about if they would lay flat but after a couple hours in a stack they seemed to lay down well.I laid a few on the on the steps realized I really should clean up the stairs first (sanding them down and maybe trying to put some stain down). Just looking at how the first four look, while it isn't perfect (I know my stairs are pretty beat up), it looks way better with these treads than without.
