As a pet owner, I was looking for something semi permanent but I can replace as they get destroyed, but so many other options I tried you had to glue down or nail. These have strips of silicone underneath that stick to the wood without adhesive. The color options are decent and I have yet to need to replace one after ~6 months of use. I am able to vacuum them on the stairs without them pulling up or folding over

Overall, these stair treads make your staircase safer, quieter, and more comfortable without any complicated installation. Super easy, super practical, and totally worth it. My dogs now run up and down the stairs without being skidish about slipping.

They do arrive creased in the middle from being folded during shipping; to avoid having the center lift off, press the center down first and then slide your hand outward from the middle when applying to make sure it seals to the floor properly.

The material is soft and comfy underfoot. It's the perfect amount of cushioning without being thick enough to trip you. The TPU backing sticks really well, assuming that you clean the stairs first. You can vacuum these with a hose attachment and they stay put, and there's no slippage at all when you step from one to the next. But if you need to adjust them, you can easily peel them up by grabbing an edge.

Also, pictures don't do them justice. They look so nice and classy in person. Definitely worth the price, and I'm so glad I decided to give them a try!

Bought these to help my senior dog go down the stairs easier. Excellent quality, super easy to install and I love that I didn’t have to use glue as I also have a toddler who will probably spill things on them so they need to be easy to clean. They haven’t moved an inch since installing and they look great on our bamboo wooden steps. Highly recommend!

I bought these as my 87-year-old Mum was coming to visit and she hates our stairs, she felt extremely unsafe coming down them which I totally understood. Not only do they look amazing, they were incredibly easy to put down, they lay flat & are slip resistant. They appear to be very durable & easy to clean. My Mum loved the way they looked & felt much safer coming down the stairs.
I haven’t washed them yet. I will do a follow up review when I have. 😎

These are really nice, both the quality and the appearance. We wanted them to help our dogs have better traction on the stairs and also help with quieter footsteps on the wood stairs. I do recommend these.

These are fantastic! The grip on the bottom works extremely well and they are visually appealing. It took me about 10 to 15 minutes tops to install and was very easy to do.
I just wish that they had a floor runner version of this to go in my hallway at the top of my stairs. If they make a floor runner version of this I would buy it in an INSTANT!

I love these. We are in a rental and the ones that were on the stairs before we're 100% the slumlord special. Gross and nasty and for some reason stapled down. So I pulled those disgusting up and now I am so so pleased. These carpet treads are soft and look great. The backing sticks down perfectly and does not move, the application was super simple and straightforward. I only have 13 steps so I get 2 extras, in case something happens to one or two (we have young kids anything can happen).

Clear film on the back is a little pain to remove in the beginning, but it does get easier after doing a couple of them. Color is beautiful, material is not too thin. The backing material is not the sticky type, but it does offer good grip and stayed in place.

I really didn't think they would stick but they do. It is like a silicone backing. Now understand how they could be washed. I am very happy with this purchase.

These match our newly floored stairs and are a great addition as our dog was slipping on the stairs before we added these.

I am obsessed with these. I wanted to make my stairs more cozy and these were perfect. Easy to place on wood steps with the grips on the bottoms. Nice and soft on your feet! Beautiful addition to my home.

Looked so good with my floors! I couldn't decide between the darker color or the gray. I went with the light gray. Easy to clean.

Answer to our problem! New engineered hardwood- looks great but unsafe on the steps for pets. This added a level of softness, grip, safety and complimented the color of our flooring. Only needed 13, but thankful to have two left over in case one gets stained. No problems with creases, just took the out of the package to lay flat the night before and they were ready to go. Had no problems with installing. It is recommended to warm the plastic with a hairdryer for 60 seconds. If you have a heat gun, 20 seconds on low works perfect. To take the plastic backing off... as long as you start at the top of the seam that is pointed out at as "start here". Get your thumb inside and pull to the corner then pull the plastic down slowly as you lean into the side seams. Have a very small pair of scissors on hand to get any small pieces left behind at the side seams. Only took about one hour to do the whole set of steps! No experience with washing yet, but gives full info for that. Would recommend.

These look really great. They are plush, unlike some really thin ones I've seen. So easy to put on and they don't slip!! Great product

These are awesome. I bought double sided tape but am going to try without first. We have textured steps and they actually worked great. I would suggest if you have slippery steps to get some double sided tape. I also put thembtowards the back so I wouldn't " obsess ""over centering them. Glad I spent a little extra to get the good ones.

Perfect! So soft and easy to install. Used carpet tape to reinforce. Color is not pure black but more like a dark gray. Poodle loves it!
