Now or Never

I recently rented a row home in Baltimore. So our house is very tall and skinny and has very slick hardwood steps. Although my dog is pretty young and didn’t seem to be having too hard a time on the stairs, I didn’t want him to slip and tumble. I bought these for the main staircase in our house since that is the one my dog uses the most often.So far, so good! I just installed them, so I can’t speak to their durability yet, but the installation was super easy. I saw other reviews saying the plastic backing was hard to remove, but I didn’t think that was the case at all. I used my hair dryer like the instructions suggested and the backing peeled right off. I really like how the bottom is grippy, but not adhesive. It seems sturdy— like it won’t move as people and dogs are coming up and down the stairs. But it was also easy to adjust and center as I was installing. We are also renting our home, so I imagine it will be easy to remove them in 2 years when our lease is up.I will say the edges are sticking up a little bit, but I am hoping they will flatten over time. I uploaded a video of my dog coming down the staircase that I have not added treads to compared to my dog coming down the stairs I installed the treads on today. The ones with the new treads definitely seem easier!

Super easy to "install". They've help us amazingly and look great on my stairs while also making it safer for my senior dog to go up and down! ?Easily vacuumed without pulling up.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a great runner with a nice curved edge. I’m using it under a dog feeding dish, the trash can and as an entry mat instead of 2 separate mats. I ordered the brownish grey and it coordinates perfectly with my floor, walls & cabinets. I have vacuumed it many times and it hasn’t “pilled”. ?It advertises as machine washable, however I haven’t eased it yet.?Would recommend.

Great product ! Stick with no issue ! Look great on my basement stairs! No lifts on edges and loved the color!

Love these runners! I've ordered several packages. They are easy to install and stay in place. In addition to using these on the stairs, I've used them to make walking paths throughout the house for my dog who has difficulty walking on wood floors. Only recommendation is to ship flat rather than folded, as it takes a little time for the center fold to flatten out. Will buy again!

This is an A+ purchase. My cats LOVE it! It’s plush, not cheaply made. Washed/dried without any discoloration or backing deterioration. It’s SO cute! Fur kid approved.

I don't typically write reviews but I just had to for these. My senior dog was not doing well on the steps at our new house. They are wood oak stairs. He actually slipped and slid down 2 steps. Now he is up and down all the time. I also have a 3 year old learning stairs and he has done great. I was hesitant but took a chance on these stair treads. I have no regrets! I have not had any issues with the backing not sticking. I think some of the negative reviews may have been user error. I did not have the same experience. I had to redo some of them and it kept its stickiness. We have not had to wash them so I can not comment on how they hold up but so far my experience, everything in the description was accurate. They don't look or feel cheap either. I recommend. These come toddler and dog approved.

Excellent stair tread carpet. Bought them so my pets don't slip and hurt themselves. Previously had a cheaper thinner one that needed to be "stuck" down and these are far superior. Highland recommend

We love these stair mats. Our large dog had become fearful of going down our hardwood stairs, which was impacting her life. She now navigates them with confidence, and they're safer for us and our grandchildren, too! They're secure and easy to install. A great purchase all around!

These are amazing! I didn't want sticky mess on my wood treads. They are not but hold beautifully. I highly recommend.

Amazing product. Needed something temporary until we can get a runner but this is just as good. It's thick, padded, and pretty. Doesn't slide so you are safe to go up and down the stairs. They look good and it was easy to install. I got the brown and it's a nice color. Great value for money too!

LOVE these Just Beautiful. True to description in every way. Color it exactly what I had hoped from looking at images in listing. They arrived in one day- price is fantastic. I love these rugs. I am going through a renovation so I tore up the ancient dark runner that was here and took a chance on these reasonable, well made little rugs. I just came back to by a larger one for the bottom of my stairs because my senior lab managed the staris perfectly because of these fantasic rugs, and slipped when he hit the floor at the bottom. I have a hard time taking a chance on something cheap because I get afraid. I took a chance on these and Im so glad I did. They stay put. They look great and feel nice underfoot and make my stairs safe for senior dogs and people.
