Plain Color Rug Treads for Steps

We wanted to reduce the risk of slipping on our hardwood stairs. We had similar stair treads that I was constantly having to adjust. We've had these for 6 months. They're cushy & are of good quality. It was easy to peel off the backing & put on our stairs. (These have silicone strips, not adhesive.) They stay put & don't move when you vacuum them, but will lift up when you want to clean the stairs. I haven't washed them yet but I don't anticipate any problems.

Love these newer designed carpets. No tape needed. Clean the floor and they stick well. Time will see how they work out.

These are so easy to install! Love the way they feel and wish I did this sooner!!

Durability and it feels good on your feet

These carpet treads exceeded our expectations! We bought "gray", a beautiful, neutral, medium shade. The carpet treads are thick, solid, soft carpet with thin strips of a rubber-like gripper running the length of the bottom.
They arrive folded in half with a plastic film protecting the rubber-like gripper. The film is easy to remove and the carpet treads are easy to put in place. The rubber grippers do their thing keeping them firmly in place but if you decide you want to move them, no problem! Just lift them up and put them where you want, easy peasy! No sticky residue left behind, no damage to our stairs.

We initially bought one set when our dog became hesitant going down our hardwood stairs but quickly came back and bought enough to complete our set of stairs because we like them so much and they look great. Our dog likes them (I think they feel more secure under her paws) but bonus for us, we love how QUIET they make our stairs. Not that anyone was stomping up & down, or otherwise walking heavily, but now there is just complete silence, it's delightful! I cannot recommend these enough!

Perfect balance between comfort and function. Sturdy and stable - purchased to protect our dog on slippery hard wood stairs. Everyone is happy with the aesthetic and function. (Easy to clean as well - bonus!)

These have been a game changer for our 12 yo Boxer When she comes in she is rather excited and dashes up the stairs. Without these on the steps she slips and hurts her knees. I have fastened them in with Velcro Command strips. They DO NOT move around. Installation was easy even with putting on the Velcro. They lay very flat even though they were folded over once when we got them and flattened our very quickly. Very happy I was able to help our Boxer!

Do not hesitate to buy these non-slip stair carpets. It is THE BEST product I ever bought! It sticks so easily to the stairs and stays in place. I have a powerful vacuum and it doesn’t move an inch during cleaning. It doesn’t damage the stairs and it doesn’t move when stepping on.
The brown color is perfect for our stairs. It is so soft, saved the legs up and down these stairs. Best of the best! I can’t believe I came across this product when I needed it the most.

Looks great on the stairs, sticks well . I have not tried to remove them and wash them .

These staircase carpets are amazing! The color is exactly as pictured, and installation was super quick and easy. I've gotten so many compliments already. My baby crawls up the stairs on them and they don't move at all, which gives me such peace of mind. They've also been great for our fur babies—no slipping at all. Totally recommend!

I really like these. They were not hard to put on and they stay in place. It keeps me from slipping on the stairs in my socks and my puppy gets better traction when he has to hurry to his next area of sentry duty.

These are amazing!! Tried out a few of the other brands on here and these are by far the best. The grip is awesome and perfect for slippery stairs. Took me about 30 min to do all 45 stairs in my house.

These are a convienent, accessible way to add rug treads to your wooden stairs. So much easier and more affordable than having a custom runner made. Application is easy, the base has a sticky material which is nonpermenant, but sticks well to a clean and dust-free surface. Once placed, they stay in place until you want to remove them. In theory, they can be washed and replaced on the stairs, but this second application isn't as strong as the first install. Our first set lasted over a year before they were too dirty to use, but stuck fast the entire time. We love them.This set isn't quite as nice as the first one. Carpet quality is decent, but not as nice. Thick pile though, which the dogs (and humans) love for grip. We're very happy with them, and will continue to use them in this purpose.

Very happy with this purchase! The treads stay firmly in place, don’t slip, and feel soft underfoot. Perfect for kids, seniors, and pets. They look neat, are easy to clean, and add both safety and comfort to the stairs.

I love these!!! They have so far stayed firmly on the steps without any kind of tacks the silicon on the back is awesome. The carpet itself is really nice on these. I’ve tried a few different brands and these are by far the best of the ones I’ve tried. The carpet is plush and thicker. They really help dampen the sound of feet going up and down and they help with some traction on the steps as well. Extremely happy with these and considering them for my basement steps too!Side note the do come with plastic on the backside you have to remove from each tread and some of them you have to spend a little more time on to remove it all if it doesn’t come off in one pull (worth the work so they don’t stick to each other in the packaging so I appreciate this thoughtfulness)

I’m impressed with these, and so is the spouse who installed them. They are quality treads, far better than what they replaced. (And what they replaced came from a fancy home furnishings site at a much higher price point). The spouse says they were a piece of cake to install, after washing the stairs first of course. The backings peeled off smoothly and didn’t really need a hair dryer to detach. The treads had no curled edges and only minor fold marks, which quickly flattened out. We’ve only had them a week or two but they get heavy use, and so far they’ve stayed firmly in place with no signs of dirt or wear. They add welcome padding to a hard staircase. They also make the stairs much easier to navigate for an old dog and old-timers like us. I appreciate the plain, modern design and wish there were more color options, as the beige is basically a taupe. But it blends in well, so that’s a minor issue. I would absolutely order these again.

These non-slip, soft stair treads are made of polyester, providing excellent padding and comfort. They are suitable for most staircases and can be easily cleaned, peeled, and stuck without any cutting required. The mats are well-made and durable.
